Hi, I’m Izumi
For most of my life, dance was everything to me, and so was the pain that came with it. Scoliosis shaped every movement I made. Injuries became routine. I cycled through physio and massage appointments that gave me temporary relief but never real answers. My body felt like something to manage, not something I could trust.
When I left dance behind, I stumbled into pilates just to see what might happen. Slowly, I discovered new strength and a deeper connection to my body.
Then, I learned about craniosacral therapy and how when the nervous system is well supported and restored, the body can adapt, heal, and become more resilient.
Now, I feel better than ever and can move with more freedom than I ever imagined. I want to share my journey with you, because you are not alone. Healing can be slow and unpredictable, but together, we can find our way back to feeling at home in our bodies.
I’m a Certified Pilates Instructor format, reformer, chair, cadillac, barrel and more, am a level 3 ELDOA Practitioner, SOMA Trainer, sports kinesiology taper , Craniosacral Therapist, and Visceral Manipulation Therapist.
